    Learn the art of professional cookie decorating in this hands-on workshop. We will briefly talk about the basics of baking cookies and offer tips and tricks of the trade, but then we'll move right into the world of decorating. There will be hands-on lessons on various decorating techniques. You’ll create a variety of designs to bring home at the end of class. Ages 12+.

    Join CNY Native Rich Talarico for this new and exciting writing workshop! Rich will share insights and techniques from his career in comedy and late night TV (SNL, MADtv, Key & Peele, The Tonight Show) and from co-writing five resident company shows for Second City in Chicago. He’ll also teach the essentials: How to write jokes, how to identify and use comedic devices, and how to brainstorm and develop ideas. Learn how to write basic comedy staples as well as pitching techniques, scene structure, proper screenplay format, and a variety of scene types. James Livingston (Key & Peele and MADtv) will be the writers’ assistant for the class, providing feedback and notes. This class will take place live via Zoom and is limited to 10 writers, ages 18+. Content is PG-13, and no recording is allowed.
