Nothing says “country” more than a braided rug. Making a braided rug that requires no sewing once the braiding is done makes this technique even more attractive. It is also a great way to recycle, reuse and repurpose old T-shirts, sheets, or other linens, cloth or clothing which are no longer being used. In this class, students will learn how to get started and practice making a few rows of braids in their rug. No need to precut fabric strips. This will be done in class. Students will finish their rug outside of class time.
