Please Note Updated Cancellation Policy, effective for registrations made February 26, 2025 and after.

North House staff and instructors invest considerable time and energy planning each course, and vacancies for approaching courses are not always filled. For these reasons, please be aware of the following Cancellation Policy:

Students who cancel their enrollment more than 21 days prior to the first day of the course will receive a refund, less a $100 cancellation fee. Students who cancel their enrollment 21 days or less prior to the first day of the course are not eligible for a refund.

Some courses, such as sailing trips and Build Your Own Timber Frame courses, have different cancellation policies. Those policies will be noted on the course page.

If North House needs to cancel a class due to low enrollment, that assessment is made three weeks before it's scheduled to start. Registered students will receive a full refund. Please keep this in mind when booking accommodations and making other travel plans. Also please note that courses are rarely canceled due to weather.
