A Toast to Mothers   

The Mother’s Day brunch is a popular reservation that is joyous, but can also bring some sensory overload. Leave the packed restaurant and clanging dishware behind, and look forward to a learning-filled brunch experience on the shores of Lake Superior. Join chef Scott Graden, owner of New Scenic Café, for a celebration of mothers of all sorts with the delightful experience of making food together. Students will make a galette, flan, seared scallops, piccata, and quiche, while toasting those who raise and nurture us all with mimosas, bellinis, and kir royale. Class will culminate with a Mother's Day afternoon brunch on Sunday. 

Required Tools

  • Assorted containers for bringing food home
  • A basket or box for those containers
  • Beverage for communal meal
