Patching up your favorite sock? Adding embroidered flair to your clothes? Dreaming up a handmade treasure? You need a sewing kit as a sidekick to all your adventures! Students in this workshop will learn the basics of needle and thread by making one of these handy kits. Choose your own colors of thread and fabric and go home with an essential tool for all crafty folk! Optional: bring a piece of clothing or stuffed animal to repair and/or decorate with embroidery stitches.

This class is for kids 8-12 years old. Students will need steady hands and the ability to sit and sew.
