Volunteers are the backbone of OLLI at Chico State. They provide instruction, communications, technical support, outreach, and help us make important social connections. Without volunteer support, OLLI at Chico State could not provide the array of lifelong learning experiences members enjoy year-round. The Volunteer Connections Program is designed to keep OLLI programming sustainable by expanding volunteer participation. Learning more about you—your skills and interests—will help us connect you to areas of need within the organization.

Help Us Recruit New Instructors
A recent member survey indicated that a majority of OLLI members would like to see more classes in areas like history, performing and fine arts, health and wellness, and current events. We also know members love outdoor meetups and hikes, as well as topics in science, especially related to active aging.
We hope you'll consider joining a small group of "subject experts," called "Learning Leaders" - to brainstorm new ways to expand the conversation in these areas, with the ultimate goal of identifying and recruiting new OLLI instructors. By joining one of these groups, you'll have the opportunity to meet other members who share a similar passion for a particular subject area. You'll also help OLLI expand its learning network!
Please take this short Learning Leader Survey to identify a learning group you'd like to join and we'll help coordinate a first meeting of each group!
