40004 Tuesday Scholar: OLLI Talks - Roseville Library  

Join scholars from area colleges and elsewhere as they share their specialized knowledge and enthusiasm. It’s like hearing your favorite college professors again without worrying about writing papers or taking finals!

Mar. 26: How do Racial Attitudes Influence American Politics? Howard Lavine is Arleen C. Carlson Professor of Political Science and Psychology at the U of MN and Director of the Center for the Study of Political Psychology.

Apr. 2: A Conversation with Senator Durenberger, Dave Durenberger represented Minnesota in the U.S. Senate from 1978 to 1995.

Apr. 9, 16 & 23: American Economics with Ed Lotterman Parts I, II & III. Join Ed Lotterman for an three-part look at the booms and crashes of American economic history. Lotterman writes the "Real World Economics" column for the Pioneer Press.

Apr. 30: Minnesota History with Peg Meier, Peg Meier was a reporter for the Minneapolis Tribune from 1970 to 2006. She is the author of seven books, including her best-seller, Bring Warm Clothes: Letters and Photos from Minnesota’s Past, which was published in 1981 and still is going strong.
