30577 The History of Minnesota Streetcars - New   NEW!

With vintage photos and video, Minnesota Streetcar Museum historian Aaron Isaacs will tell the story of streetcars in the Twin Cities. They ran on our streets from 1872 to 1954, starting as horse-drawn vehicles that transitioned to electric power by 1891. Essential to everyday life, the streetcars shaped the development of the cities. The class includes a charter ride on a historic streetcar a week after the presentation.
