10466: Women and Art: Summer @ Mia - New   NEW!

Throughout the centuries, women have been involved in making, collecting, and inspiring art. Nevertheless, women artists have met opposition in the traditional narrative of art history, finding obstacles in artistic training, exhibiting, and recognition. Join us this summer as we explore and celebrate the art of, by, and about women. This course includes tours of Mia’s special exhibition, “Hearts of Our People: Native Women Artists,” which celebrates the artistic achievements, over centuries, of more than 115 Native artists from North America.
