When you hear the name Mendelssohn you think of Felix, but his sister Fanny was an equally talented composer. Yet, as she was a woman, she was not well known. The VocalEssence concert on October 15 will present music of both Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, and you will be surprised at how similar they sound, and how different. Excerpts from the concert will be presented with special guests, a fascinating 90 minutes of music!
