40125 OLLI Scholar Climate Change in the United States: Implications for Science, Society, and You

Climate change will influence every facet of society, touching infrastructure, art, politics, and the ecosystems we depend on. Thus, an informed global citizen must understand the complexities of climate change. This seminar will provide an overview of climate science, the history of climate change, and how it influences ecosystems, art, and society in the United States. We will also discuss the complexities of solving the climate crisis, learn how to identify fact from fiction regarding climate information, and practice the basics of communicating climate science.
