40152 Houses Without Names: Identifying American Houses by Exterior Style and Interior Plan

This course is a guide to identifying and naming the most common forms of American housing. In addition to traditional stylistic names for the exterior of larger houses, like Colonial Revival and Queen Anne, this course will provide ways to name and classify all houses by their exterior forms and especially by identifying their interior floor plans. A goal of this course is to be able to identify the most common types of houses in your neighborhood or town.
