Taylor Swift is not only a huge pop star but also a cultural touchstone. The demand for her latest tour broke Ticketmaster and saw devoted fans, “Swifties,” willing to shell out thousands of dollars to see her perform. They even renamed Minneapolis “Swiftie-apolis” for her tour visit. In this single-session course you will learn about Taylor Swift's life and her impact on the music industry, and gain a better understanding of her influence on popular culture. We will examine how she has set an example for women in business and proudly blazed a trail that inspires the millennial generation.
