ONLINE: This course highlights the emotional challenges that children may face when dealing with the loss of someone significant in their lives. The participants will develop an in-depth awareness of suicide prevention techniques: decreasing risk factors, increasing protective factors, promoting positive relationship-building with parents, families, and caregivers, enhancing life skills, and fostering healthy social and emotional school and home environments.

ONLINE: In the aftermath of a traumatic event such as a suicidal death, school or community shooting, or any related tragedy, adolescents may experience a wide range of emotions and thoughts. It is crucial for parents, teachers, and community leaders to provide support and guidance to help them cope with these traumatic experiences. This course provides some strategies for responding to the concerns and questions that adolescents may have.
