In fact, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) are the most common complication of pregnancy, affecting nearly 20 percent of people during pregnancy and the postpartum year, however, it continues to be the most under-screened and under-diagnosed problem women and pregnant/postpartum people experience.
