Vocabulary and terms used in the allied health and paramedical fields are complex and evolving. Take advantage of this accelerated, online offering to master them, with the support of faculty from Pacific Lutheran University's Kinesiology program.

Course Details

  • Cost
    • Standard tuition: $175
    • PLU students: $140

  • Self-paced: 15 online contact hours (completed within 5 weeks)

  • 1.5 CEU or 1 credit (KINS 800)
    • KINS 800 appears on a PLU transcript as an "undergraduate-level continuing education class". This is not applicable to a degree program at PLU but may be accepted by other institutions for elective credit or to satisfy admissions requirements for graduate, nursing, or other professional programs. Please check with your program for transferability before registering.

This is an ideal course for students in pre-physical therapy or nursing, as well as current professionals in allied health & paramedical disciplines like nursing assistants/aides, medical technologists, medical assistants, physician’s assistants, and more.
