We are pleased to offer a series of Partners in ARNP workshops.

Who Should Enroll

Open to all nurses and Free to PLU nurse practitioner preceptors, as a part of the School of Nursing's HRSA ANEW grant (HRSA-19-003). If you are interested in precepting a nurse practitioner student in your primary care setting, contact Jennifer Bolin bolinj@plu.edu.


Credential/Accreditation Information


Pacific Lutheran University Center for Continued Nursing Learning (PLU CCNL) is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 

 

IUDs: the Ins and Outs from an Expert Clinician $50.00

Participants learn correct methods for administering a cervical block, inserting the five currently available IUDs (Paragard, Liletta, Mirena, Kyleena, and Skyla), and matching the most appropriate IUD with their patient.
 
Participants can register at any time and will receive an email within 1 business day containing information on how to complete the class on their own time. This is an asynchronous session.

  • analysis of group dynamics and healthcare hierarchical leadership power structures that promote incivility and unacceptable behavior

  • choosing a role to change behaviors and culture

The workshop will reference "The Dauntless Nurse" by M. Griffin, K. Bartholomew, and A. Robbins.
