Pacific Lutheran University offers contact hours and/or CEUs to other PLU divisions and outside organizations providing high-quality professional development and educational experiences in a variety of industries. Number of contact hours/CEUs, requirements, and pricing vary between organizations and offerings. Unless otherwise noted, you must register with the partner organization before registering for contact hours/CEUs with PLU.



Current Opportunities

Contemporary Ethical and Legal Issues (PLU's Marriage and Family Therapy Program)

6 Law and Ethics CEs. This interactive workshop offered by PLU's Marriage and Family Therapy program will provide participants with an overview of legal and ethical practices related to marriage and family therapy. Topics to be covered include navigating RCW and WAC codes, the Volk case, religion and spirituality in therapy, domestic violence, and mandatory reporting. Participants will leave with an understanding of contemporary legal and ethical issues and socially-just, ethical decision-making.

Pacific Lutheran University qualifies as a provider of mental health counseling Continuing Education Units through Washington State WAC 246-809-620 for LMFTs, LMHCs, LASWs, LICSWs, Certified Counselors, and Associates.

Cascade Conducting Masterclass

Participants in the Cascade Conducting Masterclass can receive 35 OPSI clock hours or 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through Continuing Education at Pacific Lutheran University. Participants must complete the full course, missing no sessions.
