Self-Paced Online Classes

The Center for Continued Nursing Learning at PLU is pleased to offer online, self-paced classes for the busy nurses who need contact hours. Participants can register at any time and will receive an email with information on how to complete the class on their own time.
These are not live sessions, but asynchronous sessions that are pre-recorded and the participants may view them in their own time. After completing the self-study, a questionnaire is completed that includes proof of knowledge questions. CCNL will provide each participant a Certificate of Completion when the requirements of the course are completed.
Once you have registered for a course, expect to see a link to the materials in the email you provided within a week.

Alternately, you can go directly to www.plu.edu/ccnl/self-study/ and select the workshop you would like to watch. To receive your contact hours:
  • Watch the complete video of your choice.
  • Fill out the corresponding questionnaire, answering quiz questions correctly.
  • Email ccnl@plu.edu to set up payment (if applicable).

  • You will receive your certificate via email. All asynchronous, self-paced courses are available online for 3 years from original presentation date unless otherwise noted.
