IUDs: Selection, Insertion, Removal, Problem Solving. Patient Education.
Participants learn correct methods for administering a cervical block, inserting the five currently available IUDs (Paragard, Liletta, Mirena, Kyleena, and Skyla), and matching the most appropriate IUD to patient needs. In addition, the instructor discusses the use of a tenaculum, os dilators, sounds, and endometrial samplers to do a gentle insertion.

This 60-minute webinar aims to increase the Nurse’s familiarity, knowledge, and clinical suspicion of Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS).
PWS is a rare neurodevelopmental genetic multisystem disorder. Despite improvements in the diagnosis, patients still manage to go undiagnosed until later in life due to decreased knowledge and familiarity with the syndrome. This education is an attempt to increase the participant’s knowledge and familiarity with PWS to improve recognition. Evidence-based resources on PWS will also accompany the presentation.
