Treatment response is monitored through serial lab tests, and adjustments may be made as necessary. Close collaboration with a hepatologist or infectious disease specialist is recommended for managing these chronic viral hepatitis infections. Treatment guidelines may evolve, so consulting the most recent guidelines is crucial.
