This beginner-friendly class introduces the tactile art of ceramic sculpture. You will learn to transform raw clay into functional or decorative pieces using foundational hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab construction. This course covers everything from construction to glazing.
Classes are held in our beautiful, fully equipped studio. Slab roller, extruder, molds, canvas covered worktables, ample storage space and the use of studio tools as well as clay, glaze, and firings are all included in the course fee. All that is missing is you!
Open to students ages 15 and up. Parent/guardian must sign up and accompany student if they are under 16 years of age.
Please do not bring in any outside clay or glazes as they may not be compatible with our ceramic studio materials. Classes may include students from multiple sessions.
