See and hear the fascinating history of sea glass. See some of the world's rarest specimens and learn about color grading and the stories of their origins. Mary Beth shows every shade, shape and oddity and describes pieces from 42 different countries around the world. Hear about Mermaid Tears, UV Glowers, "Pirate Glass" and more. The second lecture will end with a question-and-answer session, time allowing.
Attendees will learn about what kinds of beaches have which kinds of sea glass; gain tips on how to hunt for sea glass; and distinguish color, rarity, condition, and size. Specific sea glass locations will not be shared to encourage your own exploration and protect natural resources.
