Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Recertification Hybrid

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the worldwide standard in wilderness medical education and is a great choice for those regularly adventuring or working in remote environments. The WFR certification is a common requirement for outdoor professionals including those working in adventure guiding, ecotourism, search & rescue and more.

This Hybrid course includes a required e-learning section with at least 12 hours of interactive online learning followed by 16 hours of in-person learning over two days. The e-learning section includes interactive learning modules with videos, readings, self-practice assignments, quizzes, and case studies. It is recommended that students register two to three weeks prior to the course to ensure adequate time to complete the e-learning section.

Open to adults 18 years and older. Certification is through Wilderness Medical Associates International.

Prerequisite: You must be a current WFR graduate to qualify for this recertification class. Please see Curriculum, Requirements and Eligibility.
