Learn about the world of art and art history by focusing on one painting each week; diving deep into its creation, release, impact--and by experiencing the story that is uniquely the work's own.
This ten week class will cover eight historic paintings; using lecture to explore the works' history and development, the artist responsible, the age in which it was created, and the impact it has left on the modern world. Then use your own tools to create art of your own--inspired by "The Painting" of the week.
