The Classroom Management micro-credential series helps K-12 educators build positive, supportive, and effective learning environments using the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports framework. Participants will explore research-based strategies for preventing behavior challenges, supporting student success, using data to guide decisions, and integrating trauma-informed practices into classroom and school-wide systems.
Designed for general education, special education, and career and technical education teachers, the series includes three 10-hour professional development micro-credentials focused on PBIS foundations, Tier 1 supports, and Tier 2 supports for students at risk. Each micro-credential may be completed individually and is grounded in research from the Institute of Education Sciences, What Works Clearinghouse Practice Guides, and PBIS evaluation studies.
