The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for the role of support personnel in the hospital, clinical, home health care agencies, mail-order and retail pharmacies. Working under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, Pharmacy Technicians provide assistance to the pharmacist in a variety of tasks involving the packaging, distribution, compounding, labeling, and recording of drugs.

  • English Proficiency Requirement: The Washington DSHS requires that all students must take a basic English skills proficiency test. Participants must complete and pass the online test by Monday, July 8th at 5pm PT. Further instructions will be emailed after registration. 

    Class Prep Meeting Requirement: This course includes a a 30-minute mandatory online class preparation meeting. This meeting is scheduled for July 8th at 4pm PT. Instructions to join will be emailed.
