Students will be encouraged to express creatively and dynamically in the French language as they work towards an advanced level of mastery. Through live discussion, we'll practice greetings, introductions, and friendly and polite expressions to get you started with Spanish conversation. Learn the basics of pronunciation, talk about your daily routine, and find your way through familiar songs and stories with a little help. Some rules of thumb for the similarities and differences between English and Spanish vocabulary will give you a solid foundation for learning more.

Continue to learn vocabulary words and more advanced conversation from a native speaker. Some knowledge of Italian language is required. Textbook Italian A Self-Teaching Guide by Edoardo Lebano (from $12), is available online or at area bookstores.

Continue learning and practicing basic conversational skills and strengthening vocabulary. This class is for students with some French experience and those interested in a French language skills refresh.
