Learn the history of sourdough! Students will receive a live culture and the ingredients to "feed" the culture and they do so as they listen to how to care for and store this culture. Students will also receive a handout that includes a recipe for Sourdough Waffles. They will observe the preparation of waffle batter and waffles and are given the opportunity to taste 2-3 versions depending on the flour used. CLASS IS FULL.
