Jonathan Swift, William Hogarth and the Streets of London

Time travel to the 18th century and experience a day in London through the words of Jonathan Swift ("Description of the Morning" and "Description of a City Shower") and the engravings of William Hogarth ("Four Times of the Day"). No doubt you will be happy to return to 21st-century convenience (not to mention hygiene) but you will also see why Swift and Hogarth's contemporary Samuel Johnson would say: "He who is tired of London is tired of life!" It was (and remains) a vibrant, varied place!
