Athens Land Trust (ALT) has a five-acre farm right in the heart of town! Williams Farm provides land and resources to beginning farmers who want to develop their own farm businesses. The farm also offers work experience and skill-building for underserved youth while growing food for people in need. The farm is a model for sustainable food production in an urban setting. Learn how ALT has increased responsible and equitable land use in Athens-Clarke County for the past 30 years through its programs and activities. The class will meet at the Farm.
