Moonlight's Alright: Memories of a Million Seller

Fifty years ago this year, Bruce Blackman penned a song the he thought had promise. His new band recorded the 45 RPM and it was released in September 1975 and went nowhere. By March 1976, his car had been repossessed, and the rent was due. Then the phone rang…. Blackman, a singer/songwriter, founded the Atlanta band Starbuck whose song ”Moonlight Feels Right” became a top ten smash and remains one of the defining tunes of the 1970s. He joins OLLI's Chris Jones for a discussion of his story and his latest projects.
