Household Membership Discounts
Each membership category is eligible for a household discount. A household membership is designed for two individuals living at the same address and registering for the same membership category.
Mango Languages Program
Brush up on your language skills! Full and OLLI Carte members can enjoy a free subscription to Mango Languages, which is an online language-learning platform. The methodology adjusts to your learning pace and style and builds the six critical skills necessary for true language learning: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, culture, comprehension, and retention.Learn any of the 70+ languages offered at your own pace on your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Contact the OLLI office to get your Mango Languages account created and start learning today!
UMass Boston Student ID
Full members are eligible to receive a UMass Boston student ID card that may get them discounts at certain business, cultural institutions (including the JFK Library & Museum), and other attractions that tend to give a student discount with a valid ID. The UMass Boston ID allows holders to also check items out of the Healey Library on campus. To start the ID process, please contact the OLLI office. There is a one-time $25 fee that goes to the university, and the process includes getting your picture taken. Each January, OLLI issues membership stickers that are valid for that calendar year; stickers are afixed to the ID card.
UMass Boston Email Address
Full members are also able to obtain a UMass Boston email address. For members who do not have an email address, this would allow them to receive OLLI's electornic communications. Certain retail establishments and online merchants require a college or university email address to obtain a student discount to their services or products. The UMass Boston email would allow you to also access the secure WiFi on campus as well as certain access to library services on campus. The OLLI office can assist in getting a UMass Boston email address created for you.
UMass Parking Plan
OLLI offers a discounted parking rate of $9/day for on-campus garages to all membership levels. Regular price is $15. The semester parking plan allows Full members to pay $45 each term for unlimited parking passes.
