Wildlife in the West immerses students in the complexities of wildlife conservation with attention to policy, ecology, and human community issues. We take a case study approach, focusing on wolves, bull trout, lynx, and grizzly bears to examine the realities of wildlife management in working landscapes. The Crown of the Continent is the perfect classroom for learning about emerging solutions to human-wildlife conflicts, solutions that are relevant across the country and the world.
