Foraging in Your Backyard - GP Meet-Up

This will be a single-session seminar highlighting common edible plants in our yards and communities. The course will be held at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art and feature the Forage Garden that celebrates plant use by Native Americans of the region. Demonstrations of simple dishes made with locally collected materials will be included.Museum fee included in course fee. Members may stay and tour the museum. Meet at the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art, 386 Beach Boulevard, Biloxi. Fee: $20.00

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the brewing process, quality standards, packaging, and distribution that makes SoPro beer the best. This talk examines the possible roles in the context of evolving Native American cultures, including Mississippi's' long tradition. Fee: $5.00
