African Safari: An Introduction to the History, Geography, Languages, and Biology of Southern Africa - HB In-Person
REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS CLOSED. This class is already in session.
This course will introduce the participant to life in (or travel to) southern Africa, with a focus on Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa. Topics will include pre-colonial and colonial history, current politics, ethnic groups, the physiographic background (geology, climate, biomes), and the most common destinations of tourists. Fee: $20.00
