Chigiri -e: What Is It and How Do You Do It? - HB In-Person
Chigiri-e is a traditional Japanese art form. The word "chigiru" means to tear and "e" is an image, therefore an image produced by tearing pieces of hand-painted paper. The class will focus on the paper painting process, tools used to paint the paper and the process of selecting and apply the paper to an image. Completed images will be available for inspection and Becky will be available to answer your questions on the subject of Chigiri-e. Fee: $10.00

Learn the Ancient Art of Calligraphy - HB In-Person
Students will learn the correct way to hold the pen in order to make the thin and broad lines in each letter. Students will then learn each of the pieces to form each letter. Meet - Up at The Lucile Parker Gallery - HB Meet-Up
The Lucile Parker Collection consists of 142 artworks by Ms. Parker, with the exception of a group of 17 by Marie Hull, donated to William Carey University (WCU) from her private collection. Many works were given to WCU by Lucile's family after her death in 1988. Works in the collection include paintings and drawings of flowers, portraits and landscapes; all beautifully done in watercolor, mixed media, etching, pencil, graphite, oils and acrylics. ROCK Your World With Rock Painting - HB In-Person

Learn the basics of rock painting by creating a Ladybug rock and a Honeybee rock. If you already have acrylic paint, brushes, or paint pens, you are encouraged to bring and use them in class. If not, all required paint colors and brushes will be provided. Rocks and sealing spray will be provided. Participants will be given printouts of ideas for additional rock paintings. Fee: $10.00
