Margaret Wade, Lucy Harris and Delta State Women's Basketball, 1975 -1977 - HB In-Person
Coach Margaret Wade led her Delta State Women's Basketball team to three consecutive Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women national championships from 1975 to 1977. Lusia "Lucy" Harris was the player who made that possible and she went on to score the very first points in Olympic women's basketball history and became the first and only woman ever drafted by the NBA.
