An in-depth study of AC & DC electrical concepts. Students will also identify basic circuitry components along with an emphasis on troubleshooting concepts using schematics and measuring tool devices. Also, an introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers, common associated Input and Output devices, PLC programming with an emphasis on uploading and downloading programs, program monitoring and using PLC programming software as a troubleshooting tool, Discrete PLC based control systems with an emphasis on PLC control system maintenance, troubleshooting & Repair.
