Acrylic Painting is a fun, wonderful, and versatile paint medium that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment. In Acrylic Painting 2, a sequel to Acrylic Painting 1, you will continue to learn how to express yourself in the colorful medium of acrylic painting. You will learn more acrylic painting techniques, in addition to painting a variety of new subjects. You’ll also learn more about blending, texturizing, brush handling, detailing, stippling, dabbing, glazing, wet-in-wet, dry brushing, color mixing, complementary colors, warm and cool, hue, value, intensity, and proportions. You will be surprised at how quickly your skills improve by observing and painting along with step-by-step class presentations, which make it easy to understand and put these techniques into practice. Once you learn these skills, you’ll find them becoming second nature, and you’ll significantly increase your ability to paint the world around you.

Given that important and poignant truth, there are many things we can do to prepare ourselves and save our loved ones time and stress. In this class, we will explore legal documentation, practical considerations, relational networks, wishes for your memorial and your body’s disposition, and much more. All of this information is valuable to anyone regardless of age or state of health. Each class session has built-in time after the presentation for questions and deeper discussion. The instructor will follow up with a checklist and a document with extensive resources to help you complete and maintain your end-of-life preparations.

A masterboard is the result of gluing various materials, such as paper, fabric, and yarn, combined with painting or marking. Masterboards are used to create one-of-a-kind greeting cards, bookmarks, or frames into art pieces.
Supplies needed: Scissors, decorative papers, tissue, gift wrapping, fabric, yarn, buttons, and any small embellishments that can be glued onto paper. The instructor will also have some on hand during class.

In Drawing 2, you’ll continue to use your imagination, creativity, and perception through the practice of drawing. In this class, you’ll continue to learn more of the fundamentals of drawing: 3-dimensionality, light, shadow, proportions, details, and perspective. You’ll learn how to draw even more subjects, including nature, people, still lives, and animals. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your skills develop as you observe and draw along with step-by-step class presentations, which make it easy to understand and put these techniques into practice. Once you learn these skills, you’ll find them becoming second nature, and you’ll significantly increase your creativity and your ability to represent the world around you. Drawing 2 is the sequel to Drawing 1, and you'll get a chance to learn a variety of additional drawing skills and subjects beyond what you learned in Drawing 1. Additionally, there will be a section on colored pencils in Drawing 2.
