Spring weather is here and it is time to get outdoors and create! Line-and-wash is an art form created with ink and watercolor washes. Artists use this medium for field study, nature journaling, architectural drawing, landscapes, plein-air, still lives, portraits, archeological studies and more! It is easy to pick up and can be enjoyed by artists from beginner to more advanced. With only a small journal and a few travel-sized art supplies, you can create wonderful finished pieces indoors and out! Each class we will meet at an interesting Bronxville town location (e.g. Library, Town Hall) where we can spread out and work separately. The instructor will present an essential watercolor or ink skill, then she will wander between students assisting as they create the subjects around them. Classes are presented in a relaxed, fun, and nonjudgmental atmosphere. Warming spring weather, beautiful Bronxville and creativity, a wonderful way to enjoy the delights of the new season.
