    This class is designed to help build both your muscles and bones. We will move through a full-body range of exercises, including squats, lunges, hinges, presses, and rows. This class is intended for those who can move to the floor and back up easily. We will also be doing some abdominal work throughout the class. 2 lb dumbbells are available. Please bring 5 lb or 10 lb weights, if looking for something more challenging. Please bring your yoga mat, if possible. Senior discount does not apply.

    Fundamentals of Yoga is designed for newcomers through intermediate levels of practice. Each session will move through a purposeful sequence of poses with a focus on stretching, breathing, and flow. Classes include yoga practices associated with Vinyasa and Restorative yoga with meditation as an integral part of the class framework. The objective of Fundamentals of Yoga is to provide a safe, fun, and judgment-free classroom environment for all abilities regardless of prior yoga experience. Please bring your own yoga mat; blocks and other equipment are optional.

    Pilates is a system of movement that works the abdominal muscles, and in the process, the entire body. Movement is precise, and at the same time, flowing. Muscles are toned and stretched, leading to improved strength, stamina, posture, and flexibility. Pilates seeks to unite mind and body through breath, concentration, and control of movement. Physical fitness and a sense of well-being are equally important in this class. Ballet- and yoga-inspired moves and stretches will be included as well. Open to all levels. Please bring a cushioned exercise mat.
