 Refunds & Withdrawals 
In-Person Classes - Withdrawal/refund requests must be made by phone or email prior to the start of the class to receive a 100 percent refund. No refunds will be made after that time. Unexplained absences from class without prior communication to the instructor will result in immediate withdrawal and the student will not be refunded.
Online/Zoom Classes - Withdrawal/refund requests must be made by phone or email 24 hours or more from the start of the class to receive a 100 percent refund. For the security of the virtual classroom, refunds for online classes will not be authorized after the Zoom link has been sent.
All Classes - Full refunds will be made if Centralia College cancels the class.

 Important - Zoom Links 
The CE office will email Zoom links 24 hours before the class starts. Please check your spam folder before requesting a new link. If you have not received the Zoom link and the online class is fewer than 24 hours away, contact the CE office immediately at 360-623-8940. If you do not contact the CE office about the missing Zoom link before the class starts, a refund will not be provided.

  • Cooking Workshop     Japanese Udon Noodles from Scratch
  • Udon noodles are thick and chewy made from wheat flour and mainly used in Japanese cuisine. In about 2 hours, we'll start with making the noodle dough from scratch. We'll turn the dough into udon noodles using a knife-cut technique. We will serve udon into 2 ways: udon noodle soup and abura udon with chicken. We'll talk about types of flour and techniques that make each type of noodles different. There will be options for vegetarian and vegan or any types of meat you prefer. This class requires reliable access to a computer or laptop (a cell phone is not sufficient) with internet access to complete online homework and review online materials.

  • Cooking Workshop     Chinese Cooking
  • Chinese cooking is known for a quick and healthy meal. Once you learn the techniques, you can easily make a quick and simple meal at home on a regular basis. In this online interactive class, we'll make delicious Chinese dishes, including mapo tofu (pork and tofu), stir-fried assorted vegetables, eggplant in garlic sauce, and cucumber salad. We will serve these dishes with steamed white rice. You can substitute pork with chicken or beef or ultimately make it vegan. This class requires reliable access to a computer or laptop (a cell phone is not sufficient) with internet access to complete online homework and review online materials.

  • Embrace the light and delicate flavors of Vietnamese cuisine known for fresh herbs, vegetables, and dipping sauce. In this online interactive cooking class, we'll make Vietnamese fresh rolls with dipping sauce and Vietnamese noodle soup (pho) with chicken.

  • Let¿s learn how to make Spanish tapas, little bites with big flavor in this online interactive class. We will make gambas al ajillo (shrimp with garlic), chorizo braised in red wine tapas, and classic Tortilla Espanola.
