Refunds & Withdrawals
In-Person Classes - Withdrawal/refund requests must be made by phone or email prior to the start of the class to receive a 100 percent refund. No refunds will be made after that time. Unexplained absences from class without prior communication to the instructor will result in immediate withdrawal and the student will not be refunded.
Online/Zoom Classes - Withdrawal/refund requests must be made by phone or email 24 hours or more from the start of the class to receive a 100 percent refund. For the security of the virtual classroom, refunds for online classes will not be authorized after the Zoom link has been sent.
All Classes - Full refunds will be made if Centralia College cancels the class.

Important - Zoom Links
The CE office will email Zoom links 24 hours before the class starts. Please check your spam folder before requesting a new link. If you have not received the Zoom link and the online class is fewer than 24 hours away, contact the CE office immediately at 360-623-8940. If you do not contact the CE office about the missing Zoom link before the class starts, a refund will not be provided.

Home Garden Workshop Aquaponics
Are you interested in growing your own delicious, organic vegetables, herbs or other edibles in a small space with virtually no chemicals? Aquaponics is a type of aquaculture that combines raising fish with hydroponics -growing plants without soil. Learn about the different types of growing methods, aquaponic systems and the setup costs. We will also discuss the types of fish and plants you can successfully raise in your backyard, garage, greenhouse or inside your home. Class includes Handout, eBook, and Design suggestions.

Home Garden Workshop Pond Fish Care
Fish keeping can be a challenging endeavor. In this class you will learn how to master the art of balancing water quality while caring for cold water fish in your tank, pond or other type of water feature. Discover how to identify illness, diseases, parasites and other signs of distress and which methods to use to handle the situation. Home Garden Workshop Forage in Your Backyard
To forage is to wander for food in the wild and in the class, we discuss how to forage, without ravaging, in our own backyard or other wild places. We will learn how to identify garden weeds, medicinal, edible, and aquatic plants that are native or introduced to the PNW as well as their traditional uses. Join Biologist, Kerri Bailey, as she shares her 30+ years of wild crafting experience harvesting, drying, storage, recipes, and conservation concerns. Class includes handout, eBook, and edible plant list. Provide plant samples to your instructor or submit images for plant ID.
