Certified Dental Assistant

If you’ve been wondering what do dental assistants do, this course will tell you all about it. Our certified dental assistant program is designed for individuals who don’t have any professional dental experience but want to improve their opportunities in the dental healthcare industry. Our dental assistant course will teach students in detail about: • The history of dentistry • Essential legal information • Oral anatomy • Operation techniques • Various dental equipment Our aim for this intereactive and multimedia-rich course is to provide students with the opportunity to develop mastery over procedures, standards, and the tools required for dental procedures. This way, when you acquire a job in a dental office, you’ll be prepared for all tasks that are expected from you. This course also awards students with an exam voucher for the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) certification exam by the Dental Assisting National Board(DANB). This certification is a requirement in various states for those who want to become certified dental assistants in a dental office. To improve your opportunities as a healthcare professional, we’ve also included an exam voucher for the Infection Control Exam (ICE). If you’re looking for hands-on experience in the field, we provide opportunities for optional clinical externships at local healthcare providers as well.
