Storytelling: The Heroine's Journey

The Heroine’s Journey of personal perseverance, survival, and transformation is not as well-known as the Hero's/Sword Maiden’s Journey of victoriously slaying the dragon. But, it has been the path all of us have traveled for the past year as we have lived through the Covid-19 pandemic. How will we tell the stories of our experiences? Using traditional folktales, contemporary personal stories of resilience, the instructor’s perspective, and group discussion, we will laugh, sigh, and be enlightened as we discover new insights and learn how a story changes depending on how it is told.
