The Elderwise Learning office and in-person classroom are located at 2275 Platt Road, Ann Arbor 48104, between Washtenaw and Packard, just south of the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center and the main entrance to County Farm Park.
There is a large parking lot and the building has accessible parking and an accessible entrance.
The building used to be a roller rink called the Ann Arbor Skate Company. The lobby still has some of the original floor from the skating rink. The building was later converted into the Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. It is now home to Ann Arbor Community Church.
Elderwise Learning leases space for our office as well as the classroom. Also leasing space in the large building is a Spanish immersion preschool, an organization called InterVarsity, and a nonprofit organization called Staying in Closer Touch that works to strengthen bonds between incarcerated family members and their children through books and literacy.
We have been warmly welcomed to share this location and are thankful to be a part of this community-oriented space.
