Sheila Carroll returns to bring us fresh news from the land of faerie. She will discuss how fairy tales have been captivating the human imagination for centuries, offering timeless lessons, moral insights, and valuable wisdom that can be applied to our everyday lives. She will delve into the enchanting world of fairy tales to explore the profound teachings hidden within these stories. We will look at the seasons of life: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and elder years, and how the fairy tales show us how to rightly relate to them. Sheila Carroll is a professional storyteller, writer and teacher. She has performed stories and workshops nationally and internationally. She is also co-founder (with her sweetie) of Worldwide Educational Resources, a nonprofit bringing story-based education to some of the most distressed places on earth. She is the creator of Living Books Curriculum, a story-based, learn-by-doing educational solution for homeschooling families. Currently, Sheila is a Narrative Therapist helping people recover from trauma and loss.
