In this workshop, Gwyn Jones will guide you through each move, and will help you build a better understanding of your mind and body connections. The class focuses on alignment and posture, building movement awareness with a blend of natural movements that will help you find balance. These Pilates exercises will show you how to improve the strength and stability in your muscles. Modifications are given as you build the fundamentals of Pilates and natural movement patterns. Gwyn Jones has offered personal training sessions, workshops, and classes on Pilates for more than ten years. She is certified in STOTT Pilates and TRX suspension, and annually enrolls in continuing Pilates Education.
Physical requirement for the class: be able to stand, and get up and down from the floor.
Props Needed: Long resistance band around 60”. Massage Ball (a semi-dense ball) is best, not a hard ball; Lacrosse practice balls work great.
