This workshop will give you bone building moves for your osteopenia or osteoporosis. We will cover weight bearing exercises, plyometrics, resistance training, and balance moves, to give us a better understanding of our movement patterns. The workshop offers an in-depth look at body awareness, posture, and even nutrition, to help us maintain healthy bones. Physical requirements for the class: Participants will need medium weights, or if you are already lifting regularly, medium to heavy weights. During the class we will be standing and getting up and down off the floor.
Gwyn Jones has offered personal training sessions, workshops, and classes on Pilates for more than ten years. She is certified in STOTT Pilates and TRX suspension, and annually enrolls in continuing Pilates Education.
