Acquiring is easy - downsizing is hard. Whether rearranging or relocating, by choice or not, sometimes we just need to get rid of “stuff.” This presentation is primarily about how to get started and make the difficult decisions. It delves into what stops us and how we will benefit. Dina will address such questions as: Should I sell or donate? What if I cannot part with an item? Do I need an appraisal? Dina believes that downsizing is not a one-time project, but a way of life, and that downsizing is not only about what to give away, but also about what to keep. Dina Shtull holds advanced degrees in social work and business. She founded Downsize with Dignity, LLC in 2015 after being an elementary school principal for most of her career. Dina is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She is also the author of three children’s books, and an avid triathlete.
