Tracy Bennett is a puzzle and digital games editor for the New York Times. She is in charge of editing the daily crossword as well as the popular games Wordle and Strands. Before changing careers in 2020, Tracy spent decades as a managing copy editor at Mathematical Reviews/ MathSciNet in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she resides with son Daniel and two cats, Pepper and Luffy.
